Adding, Removing, Reordering, & Re-sizing Columns

You can add, remove, reorder, and re-size the columns in your table.

Adding Columns

Below is the CiiRUS Bookings Manager table. Currently, it only displays the Depart and Arrival dates of bookings for a particular property.

If we want to show the name of the guest for each booking as well, then we must add the "Name" column to the table...

Resizing Columns

Below, notice how the "Arrive" column takes up most of the table. This can become a problem if we wish to add more columns and view multiple categories at once. Now, we will resize the columns to better fit the data...

Resizing Columns

1.) Hover your cursor over the line that divides the "Arrive" and "Name" column titles. Notice that the cursor turns into a two sided arrow.

Reordering Columns

Notice in the table below that we have four columns: Depart, Arrive, Name, and Total Amt. When looking at booking information, its typical to display the name of the guest first, then the arrival and departure dates (respectively), and finally the booking amount.

In this section we are going to reorder our columns.
