How Do I Set the Location of a Property?
To set the location of the property go to >>Owners & Homes > Property Name / Location.
The location is set by 4 drop-down boxes located right of the property address fields. With the location setting, you can choose to be as broad or as specific as you would like to be. For example, you could simply set the country and state for each property or choose to continue setting the rest of the location hierarchy down to the specific Location / Community.
There will also be a ‘Community / Resort’ field where you can enter a user-defined community name, but this will not assign the property a location ID, and it does not connect with the global location library.
Setting a Property's Time Zones
Before any Bookings are made and automation code details are entered, the MC will need to select a Time Zones for each property connected to Point Central. Failure to do this may result in locks opening and closing at incorrect times.

To set a Time Zone for a property, go to:
- Owners & Homes
- Quick Property Setup
- Under “View Settings” make sure to tick the “Location” button and untick the General button for a cleaner view.
- Select a property from the list
- Under the Time Zone dropdown menu, select the Time Zone that is relevant to where your property is located
