Website hosting
Updated over a week ago

Web hosting is the process of storing your website files on a server so that people can access them from the internet. Imagine a library -

  • The library is a place where books are stored. When you want to read a book, you go to the library and check it out. The library is like a web hosting provider, and the books are like websites.

  • When you create a website, you need to store the files that make up your website somewhere. You can't just store them on your computer, because your computer isn't always connected to the internet. You need to store them on a server that's always connected to the internet.

Does CiiRUS host my website?

Yes, CiiRUS hosts your website. This provides a seamless and integrated solution by integrating your website directly with your CiiRUS system. This creates a powerful and convenient setup, where your website is closely tied to the system.

With real-time synchronization, your website is always current, showing potential guests accurate and up-to-date rental listing information. This means that there will never be any differences between what is shown on your website and what is actually available for rent. This ensures that guests have the best experience possible, without any confusion or outdated details.

It's all about making things smooth and hassle-free for everyone. CiiRUS hosting ensures that your website is always up-to-date and accurate, so you can focus on what's important: running your business.

What about my domain?

Please note that domain hosting isn't included in our services. CiiRUS doesn't host domain information. This means that we don't store or manage the DNS records for your domain name.

The management of domain names is done by the domain name registrar, which is usually the company from which the domain name was purchased. The registrar is responsible for managing the DNS records, which are the settings that tell web browsers where to find your website.

If you need help with domain hosting, please contact your domain name registrar. They will be able to help you update your DNS records and make sure that your website is accessible to visitors.
