You can set up an email blast to all non-arrived guests by using the automations builder. Send an email to your non-arrived guests to communicate important messages, alerts, or to upsell an extra service before they arrive.
Create or edit the template
Before creating the automation, you'll need to set up the template. To create or edit an email template, go to:
Communications
Template Builder
To create a brand new message, click the "New Template" button.
To edit an existing message, click the "Edit" icon next to the template.
Since you're creating a new template for an automated email blast, be sure to specify the category as "Automation Template" so that the system can automatically send it once you create the rule.
Configuring the automation rules
After you've created the template for your email blast, head into the Automation rules menu: Communications > Automation rules
To set up the rule:
Click the "+" icon above the grid.
Type an internal name for the rule.
Specify "Reservation Lifecycle" as the type.
Click the "Save" icon.
To edit the rule and configure the criteria, click the "Edit" icon next to the rule that you want to edit.
Configure steps one and two with the delivery type(s) you want, make sure your new template is selected, and specify that it will be sent to guests:
On step three, to ensure the message is sent to future guests and not in-house guests, please configure it to send to guests with arrival dates after today/tomorrow, as you desire. If you're sending an email to all future guests today at 2pm, for example, you'd want it to look like this:
Activate the rule
To start sending the message, simply check the "Activate" checkbox and click the "Save" button. Blast off!
