Responding to Vrbo reviews

Save time and efficiency by responding to and leaving Vrbo reviews directly in CiiRUS, without logging into Vrbo.

Where to go

To view your Vrbo reviews, navigate to:

  1. Reservations

  2. Reviews > Vrbo Reviews

The grid displays reservations/stays that have checked-out from the past two weeks, but you can use the filters at the top to apply your desired date range or filter by a specific unit.

Review Window: Both hosts and guests can submit reviews for up to one year after the checkout date. After that, the review window closes and no further reviews can be added.

Review Statuses:

  • Review Ready: This covers the entire year after checkout where both parties are still eligible to submit a review.

  • Pending Host Review: The guest has submitted their review, but the host has not yet responded within the 14-day window. The host needs to act before the window closes.

  • Pending Guest Review: The host has submitted their review, and the guest now has 14 days to respond.

  • Review Expired: The guest left a review, but the host didn't submit one within 14 days, causing the review window to expire.

  • Review Completed: Both parties have submitted reviews, or the host's review stands alone after 14 days, closing the window for further feedback.

Respond to and rate the guest

To rate the guest, select the "Arrow" icon in the first column. From the popup window, rate the traveler:

To write a written response, click the "Thumbs up" icon in the first column. Enter your review response and then click the "Save" button. The review will published to Vrbo.

Completed reviews

To see a review left by the guest or the review that you've submitted, click the "Messages" icon located in the first column. A popup window will open where you can see the reviews.
