Setting vendor access to the Task Manager portal
Setting vendor access to the Task Manager portal
Updated over a week ago

Cleaners, maintenance vendors, and inspectors need access to their Task Manager portal. The system will automatically generate a unique username for them, but you must specify a password.

Where to go

To add and edit contacts and vendors, from the top navigation menu, click the dotted icon to open the Quick Actions menu and select "View/Add Contact."

To add a new contact, click the "Add+" icon and fill out the contact card with the user’s personal details.

Task Manager credentials

Once the contact has been added, complete optional additional information on the grid, such as whether or not the contact can be assigned inspections, owner transaction types, and hourly costs for maintenance.

While not required to use Task Manager, these fields shouldn't be overlooked, as they will affect outcomes in accounting and other departments. Don't forget to save after editing within the grid.

With users added and configured, they must be given user credentials to access Task Manager:

  1. Scroll to the right in the grid to locate the Task Manager Username and Task Manager Password columns

  2. The username is system generated and can't be changed. Specify a unique password that will be used to log into the Task Manager App.

  3. Click the "Save" icon.
