The Listing Rooms & Spaces tool in CiiRUS makes it easy to define the exact bedroom and bathroom layout of each property. Doing this allows guests to discover your listings when they use filters like “4 bedrooms”, “King bed”, or “2 full bathrooms.”
This feature is located in:
Owners & Listings → Listings → Listing Assistant → Listing Content → Rooms & Spaces
Note: This feature currently publishes to Vrbo only. Airbnb support will be added in a future update.
What the Rooms & Spaces tool does
Rooms & Spaces allows you to:
Add each bedroom in the home
Add each bathroom in the home
Specify layouts such as bed types, bathroom subtypes, locks, and amenities
Save your progress as a draft while you work
Publish the final layout to Vrbo once you’re ready
Providing accurate room data ensures guests see your listing when they search for properties that meet their criteria, and it gives travelers a clearer picture of the home before they book.
How to configure bedrooms
Open Rooms & Spaces in the Listing Assistant
Under Bedrooms, select Add bedroom
Enter a name (e.g., King Suite, Bunk Room, Kids’ Twin Room, Primary Bedroom)
Choose the bed type(s) in that room
You can add multiple beds if needed (e.g., bunk bed + twin bed)
Indicate the lock type (inside lock, inside/outside lock, etc.)
Add optional notes (e.g., Large king bed, Trundle under bunk)
Select OK to save the room
Repeat for each bedroom in the property.
How to configure bathrooms
Under Bathrooms, select Add bathroom
Choose the subtype:
Full bathroom (shower and/or tub)
Half bathroom (toilet + sink)
En suite (attached to a bedroom)
Dedicated (private bathroom not shared with other rooms)
Shared (accessible by multiple rooms)
Select the included features (e.g., bathtub, shower, hairdryer, soap provided)
Add optional notes
Select OK to save
Repeat for all bathrooms in the property.
Draft vs. publish
You can work on your room configuration over time. CiiRUS will store all changes as a draft until you’re ready.
Save as Draft - Use this if you’re still building out the rooms and don’t want them to publish yet.
Publish - When you’re finished, press the Publish button at the top of the page to sync your room layout to Vrbo.
Important: Configurations will not publish to any channel unless you click Publish. Drafts remain internal until published.
Tips & best practices
Make room names intuitive—guests understand terms like Primary King Room, Queen Bedroom, or Kids’ Bunk Room.
Be as accurate as possible with bed types; this directly affects Vrbo search results.
Bathroom subtypes help guests understand the layout, so choose the most accurate match.
If you change the number of bedrooms or bathrooms from what the listing previously stated, make sure the property’s main details still match.
