You'll need to assign a terms and conditions template to each listing in CiiRUS for guest's to be able to book online. You can create one terms and conditions template to assign to all of your listings, or, you can create different terms to apply to various listings if they differ.
So what should you include in your terms and conditions?
Cancellation policies: What are the cancellation policies for your units? How much notice do guests need to give if they need to cancel their reservation?
Check-in and check-out times: What are the check-in and check-out times?
Pet policies: Are pets allowed at the rental home? If so, are there any additional fees associated with pets?
Damage policies: What happens if a guest damages the home? Is the guest responsible for paying for the damages?
Quiet hours: Are there any quiet hours the guest needs to be aware of?
Create terms & conditions template
Create and assign the terms and conditions using the Terms and Conditions Template menu under the Reservation Settings area of the Listing Assistant.
To add a new set of terms or conditions or edit an existing one, press "Add/Edit Terms."
Terms templates can be created once and reused for multiple listings. If different listings have different terms, you can create multiple templates. There is no need to create duplicate versions of the same terms.
From the pop-up, you can either (1) add a new set or (2) select an existing template from the dropdown menu.
New terms & conditions
To add a new terms template,
Enter the name of the template such as "Terms & Conditions for Orlando Homes."
Enter the terms in plain text on the left-hand side for the channels. These can't include HTML or hyperlinks.
Re-enter the terms on the right-hand side to use for your website and direct bookings. You can use the tools at the top to change the fonts, colors, or add links.
Press the "Save & Close" button.
Assign to the listing
Back in the Listing Assistant, you can assign the newly created terms to the listing.
When connecting to channels like Vrbo and Airbnb, you can override the terms and conditions template for each listing if you need to. This is useful if you want to have different terms for each channel, as the booking process can vary.
Website terms & conditions
When a guest books directly on your website, they'll need to agree to your terms & conditions to successfully book. If you don't have terms & conditions set against the listing in the Listing Assistant, it'll cause an error on the website.
Here's an example of how the terms & conditions will look on your CiiRUS website:
