You can print arrival or welcome packets for each reservation to give to your guests upon check-in. These often contain helpful information about the rental, house rules, and things to do in the area. Creating these for each guest can add a special touch to their stay and make it more memorable.
To print arrival packets using the Reservations List, follow these simple steps:
Create the arrival packet as an email template in the Template Builder.
Select the applicable reservations and generate the packets.
Step One: Create the arrival packets
First, you'll need to set up the packet as a template in the Template Builder.
To do so, go to:
Communications > Template Builder
Select "New Template" and specify that it is a "Reservation Email to Guest" as the category
Follow the steps in the Template Builder article for more details on creating email templates.
Step Two: Produce and print the arrival packets
You can print the packets for one of more reservations at a time. To do so, go to:
Reservations > Reservations List
Using the checkbox in the first column, select the applicable reservations
Click on the "Actions" button and select "Produce Arrival Packets"
The popup window shows the selected reservations. Select the template you want to use from the dropdown menu. In addition to printing the arrival packet, you can also print an envelope to put the packet into before handing it to the guest.
Select either the envelope or arrival packet to print. A new tab will open in your browser with a preview of the selected item. Use the tools at the top of the page to print or save the item.
Flag as printed
Once you've successfully printed the arrival packets for the selected reservations, click "Yes" from the popup to confirm and flag these reservations as having printed the packets.
From the field chooser, locate the "Arrival packet printed" column to add into the grid. This flag let's you know which reservations you've already printed a packet for.
