There are two different ways to manage an Airbnb listing through CiiRUS, depending on your needs - unpublishing the listing or disconnecting the listing.
Option 1: Unpublish a Listing from Airbnb
You may choose this option if:
You want to temporarily hide the listing from Airbnb while keeping it connected to CiiRUS.
You need to pause bookings due to seasonal availability, maintenance, or renovations but plan to relist later.
You want to adjust pricing, descriptions, or settings before making the listing visible again.
You need to comply with local regulations or licensing requirements before allowing new bookings.
Option 2: Disconnect an Airbnb Listing from CiiRUS
Why you may choose this option:
You no longer want to manage the property through CiiRUS but still want to keep it active on Airbnb.
You are switching to a different property management system for handling Airbnb listings.
The property is being sold, taken off the rental market, or used for personal purposes and no longer needs to be listed.
You have duplicate listings and need to remove one while keeping the other active.
You no longer wish to list on Airbnb and want to fully remove the property from both CiiRUS and Airbnb.
Option 1: Unpublish a Listing from Airbnb
If you want to temporarily unpublish a listing from Airbnb while keeping it connected to CiiRUS:
1. Go to Connections > Channel Manager > Airbnb.
2. In the grid, uncheck the 'Publish Listing' box for the unit you want to unpublish.
3. Save the changes.
⚠️ Important: The listing will remain in your Airbnb account but will no longer be visible to guests. However, it will still be managed and updated through CiiRUS.
Option 2: Disconnect an Airbnb Listing from CiiRUS
If you want to fully remove a listing from the Airbnb integration in CiiRUS:
Go to Connections > Channel Manager > Airbnb.
Locate the unit in the grid and click on the Clear Configuration ("X") icon.
Save the changes.
Log into your Airbnb account and follow their steps to fully remove or deactivate the listing from your account.
Note: Disconnecting a listing in CiiRUS only unsyncs the unit, meaning it will no longer be updated or managed through CiiRUS. However, the listing will still remain active on Airbnb unless you complete the removal process directly on the Airbnb platform.
To fully remove a listing from Airbnb, follow Airbnb’s instructions to deactivate, unlist, or permanently delete the listing, depending on your needs.
