There are a few reasons you might need to delete an owner in CiiRUS. Maybe you added them by mistake, or they have been off-management for several years. However, we don't recommend deleting the homeowner of the unit, even if they no longer own any homes with you, as it's conventional to preserve owner financials and reports in the event of an audit.
If you must delete an owner, follow these simple steps.
Permanently delete an owner
First, you need to delete/archive any active units that belong to the owner. The system won't allow you delete an owner if they have active inventory.
Once the units have been deleted, you can proceed with deleting the owner by following these steps:
