When you add a new unit and owner to CiiRUS, you'lll need to create a username and password for the owner. The owner will be able to change their password after they log in to the portal for the first time. However, if you need to change their password for any reason, you can do so within CiiRUS.

When you first create the password, there are no specific requirements. However, when the password is reset, it must meet the following requirements:

  • The password must be at least 8 characters long.

  • The password must contain at least 2 uppercase letters, 2 lowercase letters, and 2 numbers.

  • The password must contain at least 1 special character (such as !'#$%^&).

How to reset the password

To reset the portal password, simply go to:

  1. Owners & Listings > Owner Profiles

  2. Click the ellipses icon to open the menu and select "View/Update Owner Profile"

Select the "Owner Portal Permissions" panel and then click on "Reset Owner Password."

It is a good idea to store the new password in the General Internal Notes panel below for safekeeping. This will allow you to easily access the password if you need to reset it or if the owner forgets it.
