Generating a quote

If a potential guest calls in or visits your office, you can easily generate a quote in CiiRUS to show them what's available. You can generate a quote for the chosen dates for one or more units. If the guest decides to book, you can covert the saved quote into a confirmed reservation.

How to generate a quote

No matter where you are in the system, you can generate a quote from the quick actions menu.

  1. From the top navigation, select the "Quick Actions" icon

  2. Select "Get Quote"

To generate a quote, follow these steps:

  1. In the Get Quote window, select the arrival and departure dates.

  2. If you want to quote for a specific unit, select the unit. Otherwise, leave the Unit field set to All Available Units.

  3. Filter by bedrooms or sleeps if applicable.

  4. Specify any of the pricing filters, such as whether to include pool heat or override the rate set.

  5. Click the Quote button to generate the quote.

Quote breakdown

The grid shows all the available units and their details. If the potential guest specifies a specific community or amenity, such as pet-friendly, you can filter the results by these items. For example, to only show pet-friendly homes in the grid, click the dropdown under the "Pets Allowed" column and select "True." Now, only pet-friendly homes will appear.

To view the pricing breakdown for a quote, select it from the grid. The quote details on the right-hand side include a breakdown of all fees and totals, including the rental rate, any additional mandatory fees, taxes, and the grand total. Scrolling down will reveal a nightly rental breakdown and the down payment amount.

Save quotes

You can save and email one or more quotes by using the checkbox in the first column of the grid to select the applicable quote(s) you want to save for the guest.

  1. Select the quote(s)

  2. Click on "Save Selected Quotes"

From the popup, you can reference the quotes and view the quote breakdown before proceeding to save.

To save the quote(s), enter the guest's details. If they have stayed with you in the past, you can search for their existing guest record to save time.

The system will save the quote(s) and generate a unique quote ID number. If you want to view the quote now, click yes.
