Once you've created Task Templates, you can assign them to cleans, work orders, and inspections so that staff members can complete them using the Task Manager app.
You can assign a default template to each unit for each task type (clean, work order, or inspection). This means that when a task is scheduled for a unit, it will automatically be assigned to the default template for that task type.
However, you can also override the default template on a per-task basis. This is useful if you need to use a different template for a specific task.
Where to go
To assign the default Task Templates, navigate to:
Owners & Listings
Listings
Advanced Unit Set Up
Select the "Filters" button and enable "Task Manager Templates" and then press Apply
Assign default templates
To assign a template for each task:
Locate the applicable unit from the gird
Choose a template from each Task Type
Press the "Save" icon
Now when a task is created, the system will automatically assign the default Task Template set here.
Override the Task Template
You can override the default Task Template for a specific task.
In this example, we'll override the template on a clean.
To do so, navigate to:
Operations
Housekeeping
Locate the "Task Template" column against the clean in the grid and choose the new template
Press the "Save" icon
The same process applies for work orders and inspections. Simply locate the task and specify the Task Template from the grid.
