Default housekeepers
Updated over a week ago

By default, the system will schedule an end-of-stay clean and assign it to the default housekeeper for the unit. You can assign one default housekeeper to all your units and cleans, or override the housekeeper on a per-unit basis if you have multiple housekeepers. If you don't assign a default housekeeper, the housekeeping will still be scheduled, but it won't be automatically assigned to anyone.

Assign the global housekeeper

To assign the default housekeeper, navigate to:

  1. Global Settings

  2. Settings Assistant

  3. Operations Setup

  4. Housekeeping Settings

From the housekeeper dropdown, choose the default housekeeper. Remember, you can override the default housekeeper on a per-unit basis.

Override the default housekeeper

You can override the default housekeeper on a per-unit basis, by going to:

  1. Owners & Listings

  2. Listings > Advanced Unit Set Up

  3. Click on the "Filters" button and enable the housekeeping option. Press the "Apply" button.

From the unit grid, locate the "Default Housekeeper" column. This is where you can override the cleaner. If left blank, the system will know to use the default housekeeper set in the Settings Assistant. Don't forget to press the "Save" icon to apply your changes.

Once a housekeeper is assigned, moving forward, all new housekeeping will automatically be assigned to them for standard end-of-stay cleans.
