We covered how to create new Reservation Extras here, so now let's talk about how to actually add an extra to a reservation.

As a reminder, Reservation Extras are additional fees that guests may be charged for when making a reservation. Extras can be optional or mandatory, and can be charged as a percentage amount, a fixed flat fee, or a nightly fee.

Where to go

Reservation Extras can be added from the Reservation Folio. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the applicable reservation > Open the Reservation Folio

  2. From the financials tab of the Folio, locate the Reservation Extras section

Add an extra

To add an extra to the reservation, click the "Add+" icon and choose the extra from the dropdown menu:

Once the extra is added, you'll see it in the Reservation Extras grid. You can see the price, taxes and grand total. If you need to change the amount or any other details, click on the "Edit" icon next to the extra:

Mandatory extras that you've configured will automatically apply to all reservations and show in this section of the Folio.
